Ryan McGeorge

An award winning musician, Ryan performs a wide variety of musical styles on the Euphonium and Valve Trombone including classical, jazz, and more contemporary idioms. Ryan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. During his time there he studied Euphonium with the great Dr. Brian Bowman. While in school he was an active freelancer and clinician in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, performing frequently with groups such as the Dallas Wind Symphony. He was also a member of the Tony and Emmy award winning Broadway show “Blast!” where he was the Euphonium Soloist.

Ryan is currently a member of “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band in Washington, DC as well as a founding member of the Marine Band Tuba/Euphonium Quartet.
