This recording aims to provide a first-ever recorded collection of the solo repertoire by the Australian composer, conductor, and instrumentalist, Edward Percival (Percy) Code. This repertoire is a true celebration of one of Australia’s most prolific musicians during the late 19th and 20th Centuries. He achieved success in many varying areas of his musical career, but at the same time had his history and lineage based in music that was accessible for people of all ages and abilities. I trust that this CD reflects and honours Percy Code’s life’s work and for the first time makes it available to all that wish to hear it.
