Description

This overture is the most famous part of a set of incidental music written by Beethoven in 1809-10 to Goethe’s play of the same name from a few decades earlier. This arrangement is inspired by Eric Ball’s famous 1949 transcription for brass band, enabling ambitious tuba-euphonium ensembles to take on this most musically and technically challenging music.

Score and parts included: 1 copy of hard score. All parts included on disc for printing. Parts included: tuba/euphonium 1-4 bass clef, euphonium 1-4 treble clef, tuba 5-6, contrabass tuba 7-8
