Canadian clarinetist Jana Starling is currently on faculty at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Starling has taught at Mount Allison and Arizona State Universities, performed at multiple ICA Clarinetfests and international conferences and is a sought after recitalist. Jana has performed and taught throughout Canada, the US, Paraguay, and South America. She actively commissions and records new music and performs regularly with clarinetist Robert Spring, promoting new duo literature. Her first CD, Inflexion, earned a 2007 East Coast Music Award (Canada) nomination for Classical Recording of the Year and is often heard on CBC Radio Canada. www.janastarling.com
