Matthew Miracle

Matthew Miracle, a Missouri native, received the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Missouri State University, where he studied with Dr. Allison Storochuk, and his Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from Arizona State University. He is currently completing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Arizona State University where he studies with Dr. Robert Spring. Matthew is an active commissioner and performer of new works for bass clarinet, having recently commissioned new works by Theresa Martin, Kenji Bunch and Steven Snowden. He was invited to premiere one of these works, Industrial Strength, at ClarinetFest 2011. He currently resides in Tempe, AZ and performs regularly with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Matthew is employed at Just for Winds, an online woodwind instrument and sheet music retailer, where he is the product specialist for clarinet products, and is the sheet music engraver for Potenza Music Publications.
