Description
The Virtual Alchemist was commissioned by Dr. Gary Mortenson for the Kansas State University Brass Quintet. The world premiere was on May 19, 2004 at the ITG World Conference in Denver, Colorado, USA. The music reflects the composer’s background of community bands, big bands and rock groups with a healthy exposure of Finnish folk music.
