Description
This piece is meant to be programmatic in nature. It inspires the strength of a group or community in pursuit of a tremendously difficult victory. The first movement displays the competitive confidence, initially felt at the start of a quest for victory, and the second movement displays the fatigue and exhaustion experienced after the victory is won. The fight is ultimately won in the favor of the pursuers, given that the outcome is harmonically positive, but they still also feel defeated in strength and will power at the conflict’s conclusion.
