Description
I ran across these charming poems by Niki Giovanni and couldn’t help but set them to music. I chose to use a narrator instead of a singer as to not limit the performer to one voice type. This work is written for Joe Ardovino, Professor of Trumpet at the University of Montevallo and dedicated to my three boys, Sam, Rick and Joe Jr.
