Description
Max Bruch’s Romanze for viola and orchestra is a beautiful work, and now it is available to be played on clarinet as well. This arrangement has stayed true to the original viola part whenever possible, but some notes have been changed to accommodate the viola’s lower range. In addition both Bb and A clarinet parts are provided, primarily to allow for timbral preference, but also as a way of extending the clarinet range. The music is kept in the original key so it is still playable with orchestral accompaniment.
