Footprints in the Snow is a delicate piece which rarely brings to mind the thought of the tempestuous low brass quartet. Successful performance of such a piece requires a light touch, uniformity, and clear tone. Mark use of space for breaths. The third part may be played on either tuba or euphonium and is most commonly performed on Tuba in F.
